RECIPE: Cassava Hidden Dish Ingredients: 1/2 cooked cassava 3 ears of corn Salt for seasoning 3 ripe tomatoes 2 cloves of garlic 1/3 bunch of chives 1 level teaspoon of turmeric powder 1 cup of plant-based milk (coconut) Instructions: Brown a grated garlic clove with the salt and sauté the chopped corn with the diced tomatoes, finishing with the chopped chives. Set aside. Mash the cooked cassava while still hot. Brown the remaining grated garlic clove with some of the salt, add the turmeric, and let it heat up a bit. Sauté the cassava paste, which you can soften with a little plant-based milk of your choice. In a baking dish, place some of the paste, add a layer of the sautéed mixture, and then another layer of cassava paste. If desired, top with tomato sauce and bake until golden brown. Serve with a salad. Note: You can make different fillings, such as a shiitake stroganoff.
