Honestly, this challenge was created to experience something in a more humbling manner - it puts into perspective how far I've come in 12 years - when I was using supplies like this all the time. Having expensive art supplies is never necessary, with art, you must practice, practice, practice. Observe that which you enjoy drawing, people, landscapes, animals. Look at photos and videos!
