The Trishas - Rainin' Inside
The Trishas started out as a tossed-together, supposedly one-off collaboration between four talented young females in the male-dominated world of regional Texas country music. After their personal and musical chemistry became apparent (and, to audiences, largely irresistible) the project blossomed into a brand new shared role for all of them: Jamie Wilson, Kelly Mickwee, Liz Foster and Savannah Welch transcended the ups and downs of their previous careers to form a band that's been on a steady upward path paved by their rustic yet sunny original music. Opening for or collaborating with artists the stature of Jack Ingram, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Raul Malo, they're one EP and a stunning 2012 full-length record into what's already an exciting ride.
