The BALTIC Centre in Gateshead || LIFT TOUR (Massive freighter and awesome glass lifts!)

[Recorded 5/4/18] This is a tour of the elevators at the BALTIC Centre in Gateshead. This building used to be a flour mill before being converted into a visitor centre. The public lifts are made by OTIS. I am unsure which company made the buttons and what the name for them is. They look similar to Dewhurst but are NOT Dewhurst. The massive freighter at the start is made by Elephante Lift Technology and has the largest capacity I've ever seen - 186 persons, 13500kg! And yes, that is a cherrypicker vehicle inside it, but I was told that you can fit an entire articulated lorry in it and it will still work properly! With that being said, NZ Lifts, I know you were waiting to see the glass lifts, so hope you like both them and that freight elevator!
