In this video, I'll show you one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had, something you'll only see and experience in the Amazon region! The Tabuleiro do Embaubal Wildlife Refuge (REVIS) is one of the largest natural turtle nesting grounds in the Amazon! Having the opportunity to enter this unique and very limited space was very special. Besides enjoying a typical Amazonian coffee (with tapioca and buffalo cheese) at Karina and Rosinaldo's house, having tucunaré (a typical regional fish) for lunch, fishing, kayaking, and sleeping in a hammock facing the Xingu River (this very important Amazonian river) at Luis and Bena's house. Both locations are situated within a Sustainable Development Reserve (RDS). This route (called the Amazon Turtles Tourist Route) is exclusively operated by the company Xingu Adventure, based in the city of Altamira, Pará.
