“Im Abendrot” by Marcelino Libao

“Im Abendrot” literally translates to “in the sunset” or “in the evening glow”. Beyond the literal description of nature, “Im Abendrot” holds a deep cultural and artistic significance in German literature and music. Which often reflects on gazing at a beautiful evening sky with gratitude and a sense of divine peace. Also reflecting on life, aging, and the quiet peace of the end of life. However, for my choreography — I am also tackling the idea of having a soulmate and in my belief of its infinite cycles. I hope, no actually rather I choose to believe because of its innate unexplainable connection that we do shall meet and dance with our soulmate again.
