have visited Chess Forum – a chess shop and a chess club in New York neighborhood of Greenwich Village. This shop has been here since the 70s. This store «survived» both the coronavirus and the popularity of the TV-show «The Queen's Gambit». And I asked the owner what made his store last for so many years.
