GR5 hiking trail review: what I liked and what to keep in mind when hiking from Geneva to Nice
In July 2021, together with my boyfriend, I hiked through the beautiful French Alps on the GR5 trail. It's a long-distance trail from Geneva lake to Nice, spanning more than 650km, and it takes approximately 1 month to hike it. In this video, I'm sharing the things I loved about the trail and some of the aspects to keep in mind. Hopefully, it will help you to make a decision whether GR5 is something for you. For more detailed information about this trail, check out the GR5 guide blog post I wrote, where I discuss the itinerary, gear, accommodation, and share a few visual impressions from the hike: https://intothehike.com/gr5-geneva-to... Did you hike GR5 as well? Share your observations in the comments section, curious to hear how it was for you :)
