Inside the memory card are fragments of Nam’s quiet and isolated life, including a heartbreaking video of him celebrating his birthday alone by the sea, softly making a wish: “I wish someone would celebrate my birthday with me next year.” Haunted by a strange sense of connection, Phong decides to travel to Phú Quý Island in search of the mysterious boy from the videos. On the peaceful island filled with ocean winds, sunlight, and slow-moving days, the encounter between Phong and Nam gradually unfolds into a gentle healing journey between two lonely souls. Through a quiet homestay, simple meals, nights by the sea, and silent companionship, both begin learning how to open their hearts, confront their emotions, and rediscover a reason to keep living.
