Vina Andini "Bawi Mandehen" Dance “Bawi Mandehen” means a woman who strengthens, the guardian of harmony between humans, nature, and the Creator. She is the source of life, the glue that binds cultural values, and the bearer of hope amid change. This dance is inspired by the wisdom of the Dayak people of Central Kalimantan, who view the "Sangku" as a symbol of water and the source of life, while the "Red Scarf" symbolizes heritage, protection, and human vulnerability to disease. Through this dance, we see humanity's journey in facing the uncertain threat of cancer, while remaining grounded in hope. In line with the theme of the event, “Transformative Prevention, A New Era of Cancer Strategies: Usage of AI, Biomarker detection, and Devices to Assess and Personalized Prevention Plans” this dance visualizes the transformation from burden and fear to awakening and enlightenment. The red scarf covering the dancer's face symbolizes attachment to fear, but when it is slowly removed, it signifies the courage to change and open oneself to science. At its peak, the lamp emitting light is raised high as a symbol of the birth of a new era of health strategies that combine tradition with modern technology. The red scarf stretched across the shoulders shows that cultural heritage remains present as a support, but now unites with science in providing more personalized, adaptive, and hopeful prevention for life.
