In this video, my partner and I will be performing electrical work in a panel house. Not everyone knows, but rewiring a panel house is fundamentally different from rewiring a brick house. This is especially true if all the outlets and switches remain in their original locations and the apartment doesn't plan to install suspended or stretch ceilings. A key feature of this type of work is that in panel apartments, the wires aren't chased, but pulled through access holes. Therefore, it's possible to install new electrical cables in place of the old ones (provided the channels are clear). This particular rewiring can be considered a budget option, since the outlets and switches aren't being moved or added. Nevertheless, the electrical system is significantly more advanced than before, as we installed ABB RCD circuit breakers and voltage relays.
