Vocal Coach Reaction To Dream Theater - James Labrie - Surrounded - Under A Glass Moon - Ken Tamplin Don’t be that guy that suffers from “Early Bridging”. Fortunately for us, James LaBrie, a lyric tenor best known for his contributions to “Dream Theater”, has made a full recovery and we can enjoy his beautiful, sensitive tone and great pitch more than twenty years after his career began. Dream Theater is a fan favorite in the world of progressive rock and, I have to say, this band is tight! The experienced listener may pick up the subtle influence of Dennis DeYoung or even Greg Lake in James’ vocal stylings. It’s also worth noting that the dude has fabulous hair.
