“We just wanted Erick to be comfortable… to sit, to smile, to experience the world.” Born with a rare condition that led to severe early-onset scoliosis, Erick’s journey took his family across countries in search of answers. What they found was hope and the possibility of change. Under the care of Kenneth Illingworth, MD, Erick underwent a complex pediatric spinal procedure focused on improving his comfort, mobility, and quality of life.
