ベクトル18:投影と空間の軌跡②《東京大1984年》

The other day, he told me he envies me for being able to stay at home and barely work. I'm not sure how to respond, since my friend has enough money to live a life of leisure without ever having to work, but that aside, from my perspective, I have absolutely no mental space. After thinking about how to explain this to him, I realized that it would be incredibly nerve-wracking to have to give a mock lesson in front of 20 teachers, right? Even the wording of your explanation can't be flawed. So I told him that even though his body may be resting, his mind is always working. My friend seemed to understand what it meant to make his lessons available to an unspecified number of people on YouTube, and he replied that he would be happy to be paid more than he earns from advertising. Now, this is the main point I want to make today: for me, the reward is actually "being able to film lessons that I'm satisfied with," and "having even a few people watch my lessons," and it's something I'm willing to pay for, spend time on, and even put a strain on my mental health. I came across the following passage in a book I was reading earlier: "Happiness is not something you experience when you get what you want, but rather when you live each day with goals worth striving for." No matter what you do, time is constantly being lost in your life, so if you keep asking yourself whether this is something you're willing to do even if it shortens your lifespan, you should be able to see what you should be spending your time on in life. I say this because I feel like so many people are obsessed with whether they can make money, short-term numbers, and the latest trends. If you get caught up in unnecessary numbers like "annual income," "universal score," "score," "number of views," "number of subscribers," or anything else, thinking that as long as it's a number, it's fine, I don't think you'll ever see a goal that's worth striving for.
