Herken de juveniele buizerd #1757

Discover much more about birdwatching on my website https://www.visdief.nl A buzzard was sitting in the Zouweboezem car park. And he paid no attention to me, even though I was standing only about seven meters away from him. He did see me, but he tolerated my presence. He sat in the tree and flew away after a few minutes. Not for me, but simply because he felt it was time. An hour and a half later, I was back in the car park and suddenly I heard a buzzard calling. I knew immediately: that is the same buzzard! He was now sitting on the other side of the small wood, on a post. And this time, too, he tolerated my presence. Even though I was clearly visible to him again, perhaps even more so than during our first encounter. I believe it is a juvenile buzzard. His irises are light. And he calls like a juvenile buzzard. This was a special encounter with the most common bird of prey in our country.
