PT PAL'S FUTURE PRODUCT DISPLAYS KSSR, DESTROYER - AIRCRAFT CARRIER RI'S JOINTING THE OECD REQUIRES ISRAEL'S APPROVAL, ECONOMIC MINISTER Speaks Out The first news came from Surabaya: PT PAL is currently working on Indonesia's future maritime products. During a visit by Commission VII of the House of Representatives (DPR) a few days ago, PT PAL displayed its "Future Product" R&D, which is no joke: from a Combat Management System (CMS), Fire Control System, drone jammer, laser weapon, 40mm main gun, to super-large warship concepts like destroyers and even aircraft carriers! Not only that... PT PAL also showed its autonomous defense equipment R&D roadmap: the Kamikaze USV, similar to the highly successful one in the Ukraine war, the high-speed KSSR similar to the Lundin missile-carrying platform, and the KSOT, which can carry Piranha torpedoes. This is the future of naval warfare—smarter, faster, and with minimal risk to soldiers. The second piece of good news comes from the international arena: Indonesia is now entering the crucial phase of OECD accession. All member states must agree, including Israel. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto emphasized that Indonesia remains consistent—its stance on Israel remains aligned with President Prabowo's statement at the UN: recognition of Palestine as a sovereign state is key to further action. Meanwhile, the OECD has given a positive signal, stating that Indonesia's chances of joining in 2027 are very high.
