Leon Elektronik falls in love with the well-known influencer Rebekah Wing. He tries to draw her attention to himself through videos and attempts to contact her. Leon writes countless comments under her videos. It becomes clear that Leon has little experience in establishing a friendly and appropriate connection with women, so it's no surprise that Rebekah never responds to him. More and more, unpleasant feelings of hurt and narcissistic rage arise alongside his infatuation, which become particularly pronounced under the influence of alcohol. However, Leon cannot let go of the illusion of still being able to start a romantic relationship with Rebekah. His desperate journey may (based on my current understanding) lead him into self-deception and self-denial in a digital world. It remains to be hoped that Leon Elektronik will eventually start a realistic relationship with a normal woman, one that he can then showcase to his subscribers and fans—for example, by eventually buying his partner ice cream or cooking a meal for her.
