Demo 0 - Topology Information for Multicast Lecture Series
This video demonstrates the topology used for the rest of the Multicast Lecture series. Please download the topology file from https://www.dropbox.com/sh/124zmocrwp... to follow along with the videos. The major network used here is 172.26/16 and /24 subnets have been carved out for all links. OSPF is the routing protocol. The base topology has no IP multicast routing protocol configured yet. The topology applies to both Junos and IOS demos. The topology can be built easily by a CCIE/JNCIE candidate using the following equipment: VMware Workstation/Fusion IOSv/CSR1000v vSRX/vMX The end devices in the demo are IOS devices with no ip routing command configured on them. They also do not run any multicast protocols (throughout the series) except for being IGMP reporters.
