Theology, like philosophy, must address the most fundamental questions of existence. Science, however, is increasingly turning away from the fundamental questions of the search for truth to how to benefit people. And itself. And the Church is now concerned not so much with understanding God as with practical, "useful" deeds. It has become a purveyor of demands. This is our "fall," our fall from heaven to earth. This gives rise to a host of secondary problems that cannot be resolved without returning our attention to Meaning, Truth, and God.
