Gang-gang update 5 June 2026: 34 Gang-gangs for the morning breakfast, including 3 baby boys.

A brief Gang-gang update for 5 June 2026. Roughly 25 Gang-gangs in the first feeding flock of the morning, including 1 baby/juvenile male. We had a second flock of 9 GGs later on, including 2 baby boys. As far as I can tell, no baby/juvenile females this year thus far, but I'll continue to keep an eye out for them. Unfortunately, sadly, most juvenile females fail to survive their first few months after fledging, leading to the demographic crisis in Gang-gang populations (male dominated demography with not enough breeding females to pair up with adult breeding males). We still have 3 months of the winter feeding season to go, so there is still a good chance we might have some baby females turn up...???
