Mom & Tom traveling by car and train across mostly southeast Ireland in September 1997, narrating as they go. Small villages, castles, an abbey. And an old inn where our great grandmother, Bridget McCarthy (later Bridget Daly, mother of Veronica Ballentine), may have visited as a child before her parents took the family and emigrated to the United States, maybe around late 1870's or early 1880's.
