See more on Facebook   / fr.ideas   FOLLOW ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA! -------------------------------------------------------- ►Twitter   / petaruger   ► Instagram   / enelhornoconpeta   ► Google +1!! http://bit.ly/Z9col7 ► Facebook   / enelhornoconpeta   ► YouTube    / petaruger   Fried Paraguayan Empanadas For the dough • 500g Hildebrand 000 flour • 100g butter • 1 tablespoon salt • 1 egg • Juice of 1 orange • Purified water (as needed) For the filling • 450g Neuland Special Ground Pepper (1 package) • 2 onions • 1 small red bell pepper • 1 small green bell pepper • 2 garlic cloves • 1/2 bunch of spring onion • 2 hard-boiled eggs • 1 Knorr beef broth • 1/2 bunch of parsley • Borges Olive Oil • 1/2 teaspoon cumin • Salt and pepper to taste Get started For the filling, sift the flour with the salt. Place it in a bowl with the butter and mix with your hands until it becomes a light sand texture. Add the egg and orange juice, knead, and gradually add water as needed. Knead until you have a soft dough. Wrap in plastic wrap or a bag and let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. For the filling, place the finely chopped onions in a pan with olive oil over medium heat until soft, then add the chopped bell peppers and cook for 4 minutes. Add the finely chopped onion and stir. When the mess starts to form in the pan, add the broth, chopped garlic, the special ground spice, cumin, salt, and pepper, and stir. If you cook the meat for longer, it will come out drier; if you cook it for less time, it will be juicier. When the meat is cooked to your liking, turn off the heat and remove from the heat. Add the chopped egg and let it cool. Once the filling is cool, add the chopped parsley and stir. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, sprinkle flour on the counter, and roll out a small ball the size of the pan with a rolling pin. Place the dough in the oven, slide a rolling pin through, remove any excess, place the filling in the center, wet the edges, and seal. Fry in plenty of hot oil until golden brown, remove with a slotted spoon, and place on absorbent paper.
