US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reiterates his country's readiness to reach an agreement, albeit with conditions, while his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, believes that Washington is the one that needs to review its policies; otherwise, further messages are pointless. How can a ten-day truce be accepted amidst such hardline stances and a deep chasm of trust between the two countries? The Revolutionary Guard believes that the United States is playing for time to ship more oil and ammunition.
