CONSOLATA , TORINO IN PROCESSIONE

Turin, Turin's residents participated in the solemn Consolata procession through the city center, led by Archbishop Cesare Nosiglia. The statue of Our Lady of Consolation departed from the Sanctuary on a gilded chariot, covered in gold leaf, restored and completed with the upper elements supporting the crown. The procession passed in front of the Turin City Hall, greeted by officials. Consolata, a procession marked by welcome and brotherhood. Archbishop Nosiglia recalled that Joseph and Mary had been refugees in Egypt.
