My Biggest Find Yet… 10,000 years old? Exploring ancient cliff dwellings..

I spent several days deep in a remote desert canyon, exploring ancient cliff dwellings carved high into the rock. These places were lived in, revisited, and reused for thousands of years, and the deeper I went, the more signs of past human life started to appear. While hiking and carefully scanning the canyon floor below the dwellings, I stumbled across something I never expected to find. A beautifully worked stone axe head, along with arrowheads, pottery fragments, and other traces of ancient tools and daily life. Finds like this raise huge questions about who was here, how long ago they lived in this canyon, and how many generations passed through the same landscape long before us. Stone tools like these appear in the archaeological record thousands of years ago, long before written history. Canyons like this were not just shelters, but travel routes, seasonal camps, and places people returned to again and again over deep time. Every artifact tells part of a much bigger story that is still being uncovered. This video documents the exploration, the discovery, and the questions that come with finding ancient artifacts in the wild. What do you think this tool was used for, and how old do you think it could be? ⸻ #ancientartifacts #cliffdwellings #ancientmysteries
