🔎EX90 Summary The EX90 features an AWD twin-motor system based on a 106kWh ternary battery. The base model delivers 456 horsepower, while the Performance model produces 680 horsepower. It accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and 4.2 seconds, respectively. Furthermore, the 800V battery system supports up to 350kW fast charging, allowing for a charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 22 minutes. With a driving range of up to 625 km on a single charge (WLTP standard), it has secured competitiveness even for long-distance driving. The Ultra trim comes standard with dual-chamber air suspension, providing both a smoother ride and stable driving compared to the previous model. Additionally, the domestic launch price has been set at a whopping 17.32 million won lower than the EX90 sold in the United States. 'Sunlike LED' (supplied by Seoul Semiconductor), which delivers lighting close to natural light, has been applied. Nappa leather seats and a Bowers & Wilkins sound system have been added. Above all, the Bowers & Wilkins audio system, consisting of 25 speakers inside the vehicle, boasts the highest level among vehicles in its class. The body structure has also been reinforced; the EX90 combines lightweight aluminum and boron steel (ultra-high-strength steel) to design a battery protection structure, increasing torsional rigidity by 50% and collision energy absorption capacity by 20% compared to the existing XC90. Finally, the EX90 comes standard with an advanced sensor set consisting of five cameras, five radars, and twelve ultrasonic sensors. These sensors detect not only the surroundings of the vehicle but also the interior. Representative features include a driver monitoring system that analyzes the driver's gaze and concentration, and an interior passenger detection system that prevents children or pets from being left unattended inside the vehicle.
