I did an apples to apples comparison to the Honda OEM original hardtop versus Vaikhari, USA re-creation of the discontinued hardtop from Honda. In this video, I go over the good, the bad, the “pretty close” parts of Vaikhari’s Aluminum hard top aftermarket. Points not covered in the video: (Sorry I Forgot to Mention) 1. No more small pin hole dimples in the Vaikhari Glass! Earlier version had a different manufacturer for the tempered rear glass. They are now flawless to the OEM counterpart. 2. Hard top must be fully assembled and painted. 3. Door windows need to be adjusted. Requires door panel removal and window heights adjusted to the hard top. 4. Upper hard top latches not included. 5. Honda OEM hard top latches and Strikers are different from the Soft Top counterparts. You want Hard Top versions. 6. Used OEM Hard Top costs are all over the place. Highest I’ve scene is $8500!! 7.
