Taxing Extractive Companies: Details on OECD-IGF Collaboration and Tax Inspectors Without Borders: Results on the Ground The OECD collaborates with the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF) to help address the complex tax risks facing the mining sector, while Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB), a joint OECD-UNDP initiative, provides real-time assistance during inspections and investigations of tax administrations in developing countries. The session will highlight how coordinated support and collaboration among development partners has yielded results, strengthened institutional capacity, and serves as a model for achieving results in other tax and development-related areas.
