Climate change unleashes nature’s fury upon a small fishing community on the southern coast of Brazil. It is Lúcio’s birthday, an imaginative child who loves drawing mermaids and playing with dolls, but in the presence of his intolerant and violent father, there is little cause for celebration at home.
