Rob Martino - The Third Enigma live (Chapman Stick)

Hear and download my debut album One Cloud: http://robmartino.bandcamp.com This is the first complete Third Enigma live performance I've made public... my progressive rock inspired Stick "epic" and most ambitious composition, if you have the patience! Also a bit of early 20th century English symphonic influence thrown in (Holst, Vaughan WIlliams). This composition demonstrates a lot of the interesting polychord type harmonies possible on the Stick. I developed this piece over a period of a couple years. Recorded on a MacBook Pro, using Line6 POD HD 500 for effects and Fishman SA220 for amplification, post production done in Logic Pro. I like to leave dynamic range in the audio and don't compress the sound much to make it louder, so feel free to turn up the volume for full impact. :-) From my March 18 2011 show at Read All Over Books in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
