Master of Wine Selects Top Values at COSTCO
This video will feature wines ideal for gifting, dinner parties, or just having around the house. I hope you'll stay for the full video, but if you want to move ahead to the wine tasting, check the timeline below. A typical Costco carries just a couple of hundred different wines. Some are available year-round, but many are so-called treasure-hunt wines, available for only a limited time. This keeps the assortment fresh, and you'll always find some unexpected. Part of the mix is under the Kirkland Signature label, sold exclusively through Costco. Prices range from $5 to several hundred dollars per bottle, with most between $15 and $35. Aside from the standard price sign, there are a few others worth noting. Some will show an additional supplier-funded discount; pay attention to the promo expiration date. Others will have an asterisk in the upper right corner indicating the wine will not be replenished once it's sold out. A seven at the end notes an item with a further discounted price. The assortment will vary by location. I intentionally did not choose any wine marked with an asterisk when this video was created. I picked up eight wines from four different countries.
