The recovery phase brings back a mix of fighters and heavies, reflecting the sustained operational tempo at the largest U.S. Air Force base in the Pacific. Returning aircraft include F-35A Lightning IIs, F-15Cs from the 67th Fighter Squadron, and a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 909th Air Refueling Squadron, completing their earlier missions. Adding variety to the sequence is a MC-130J Commando II from the 1st Special Operations Squadron, conducting pattern work and showcasing Kadena’s special operations mission.
