1995 Australian Super Tourers Race 1, Phillip Island

Super Touring two-litre action from the opening round of the 1995 Australian Super Touring Championship at Phillip Island. This was sadly the race in which Gregg Hansford lost his life - he lost control of his Mondeo and crashed at Turn 1 in the first start of this race. This is not included in this program and the race shown in this broadcast starts from the restart after Hansford's crash. This broadcast was in memory of Hansford, as is shown at the end of the video. This Phillip Island round marked the debut of Brad Jones Racing in Super Touring with a pair of Audi Quattro 80s.
