The French heatwave has arrived... and with temperatures approaching 40°C, even renovating our little cottage became a challenge. What started as another productive day quickly turned into a battle against the heat. Breakfast moved to the terrace, work became almost impossible, and even our brand-new gyrobroyeur had to wait for cooler weather. Thankfully, someone was enjoying themselves... The dogs decided the swimming pool was the perfect place to spend the day, and watching them leap into the water certainly made us smile. But the biggest surprise came when we explored our old well more closely. Hidden beneath the surface was something we never expected to find...
