Oil change in my Tdi Jeep Willys and Jetta

Two vehicles. Fifty-four years apart. Same engine family. In this video I’m changing the oil on my 1949 Willys CJ3A that’s powered by a Volkswagen TDI, along with my 2003 VW Jetta TDI. At first glance they couldn’t be more different. One started life as a post-war farm Jeep and the other is a modern diesel commuter. Yet both rely on Volkswagen’s legendary TDI diesel power. Along the way I talk about oil change intervals, maintenance practices, and what I’ve learned from owning and driving both of these diesel-powered machines.
