Saxon Math 8/7 or Algebra ½ ??? | Here Are My Thoughts

Hey friends! Today I wanted to share my thoughts on Saxon Math 8/7 and Saxon Algebra ½. It is my understanding that these two curricula are similar and can be interchangeable. You could choose either one for your child and it would accomplish the same goal. Due to some misunderstanding and mistakes I made, my oldest son was in Saxon Math 8/7 in fifth grade. (Whoopsie!) We weren’t ready to push him into Algebra quite yet, so we decided to take a year to reinforce the concepts he had already learned. In this video I share my thoughts and the differences between the two curricula to help you make a decision if you are on the fence of which one to choose!
