For California students especially, this session is worth attending: Dean of Admissions Leila Amiri has shared that UVM Larner accepts more students from California than from any other state outside of Vermont, making this an especially meaningful opportunity for applicants from the West Coast. Dr. Amiri will discuss what the admissions committee values in competitive applicants, including academic readiness, service, clinical exposure, professionalism, resilience, and mission fit. She will also offer insight into how students can build a thoughtful, authentic application that reflects both achievement and purpose. You can come, ask your questions and get answers in a supportive environment focused on helping you move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Most importantly, come hear directly from the source instead of second-hand or bad information or people who have no clue about the admission process.
