How Ship's MAIN ENGINE works? Detailed in Tamil

Generally ships main engine are 2 Stroke CIE ( Compression Ignition Engine ) , runs with the consumption of Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) ⛽ or Marine Diesel Oil (MDO) ⛽. Main Engines are used for ships propulsion to move from one place to another... And sometimes we produce electricity⚡💡 with M/E shaft called as Shaft Generator. Crankshaft of main engine connects with propeller, with some additional intermediate shafts. When engine's crankshaft rotate in clock wise direction ship moves Ahead (forward), and vice versa, crankshaft rotate anti-clock wise ship moves astern direct (backward). Main Engines have speed controls : Nautical Full (NF)🟢 Full (FL)🟢 Half Ahead (HF)🟢 Slow Ahead (SA)🟢 Dead Slow Ahead (DS)🟢 Stop (ST)🔴 Dead Slow Astern (DSA)🔴 Slow Astern (SA)🔴 Half Astern (HA)🔴 Full Astern (FA)🔴 All these telegraph singnals control the RPM of main engine. Which directly leads to change in ship's speed. And that's how a main engine deal in very basic manner....
