Originally from Gandu, in southern Bahia, Jamilton led a busy life, full of work, travel, and plans. Until a blood pressure check done by chance revealed something unexpected: kidney failure. He underwent five years of hemodialysis, faced many challenges, adapted, learned a lot, and moved to a new city in search of a new opportunity. It was at the Pró-Rim Foundation in Joinville (SC) that he found support, care, and hope.
