Splitting and Equalizing

If I had enough queens right now I would split all my hives down to nucs but I don't have enough temporarily. I must still stop them from swarming. Splitting down the super strong colonies reduces the chances of swarming and all that surplus brood and resources go into the smaller hives, boosting them. This way I end up with hives that are not over crowded and of roughly equal strength. I will do a lot more of this for honey production. My website is www.BeeWhisperer.us
