He was chosen as a resource person for one of the successful MSMEs in his business. "I started this tempe business in 2016. Initially, I just wanted to learn and help with the management," he explained. Cucup told Kabarjournalist.com In this regard, Cucup wanted to help MSMEs and explore various schemes. However, after gradually getting involved in this business, he became interested in taking it seriously because he believed the tempeh business had quite good potential. "This tempeh business has quite good potential and market opportunities because almost every household in our community has tempeh and eats tempeh," he said. After doing some business calculations, according to the owner of Rumah Tempe Azaki, the annual consumption of 6.5 kg in Indonesia, multiplied by 270 million Indonesians, this made Cucup interested in taking this business seriously and pursuing it. In addition to the layout of the production area, the employees, and the ingredients used to make the tempeh are all kept clean according to company SOPs, ensuring a quality product. Meanwhile, at the tempeh production site, Kabarjournalist.com was accompanied by the Manager of the "Rumah Tempe Azaki" Company in Kota Sukabumi, Diding Supriyadi, to directly observe the processing of Azaki Tempeh, which is now well-known and produced in several countries around the world. "The Azaki Tempeh House in Sukabumi City specifically produces the needs of local Sukabumi residents. For international production, there's another factory in Bogor," explained Diding. The export-only factory is equipped with several sophisticated and high-tech tools to ensure optimal and long-lasting results. "The Bogor factory is more modern in terms of equipment, such as using X-ray sensors. So, if there are stones or iron, they can be detected," he said. The Azaki Tempeh Factory, which originally started in Sukabumi City, has continued to grow and now exports to several countries around the world. "Currently, we have built special factories for export to Japan, South Korea, one to the United States, and there is also a factory specifically built for local production. "So, it's specifically for export factories," he said. Azaki Tempe House in Sukabumi City, one of the MSMEs, has now grown and is able to recruit employees from local residents.
