Longplay - Symphonia - pt. 5

This game is making me really angry and now I hate classical music. Ok... I don't hate classical music, but this game IS getting on my nerves. I have to compare it with Rayman Origins and Legends: These games are not about music, but the music is so important. Most of the time, if you get into the rhythm you can beat the level, and most of the "musical" levels the game design follows the rhythm of the music. If you get into the flow of the music you will beat the level perfectly. It doesn't mean that Rayman Origins is easy, there are plenty of hard levels (most of them in the underground after you get all the red teeth. I really thought this game would be like Rayman in that sense. The music driving the rhythm of the level. It isn't at all. On the contrary, beyond the fact that the music is not conducting the flow of the level, in the hardest levels if you follow a rhythm the game will punish you. It seems that you need to be beat deaf to be able to play it. You might say that I have a skill issue, but I beat Rayman Origins, beat the Big Mama and it was so fun and I felt rewarded. And, if the music isn't conducting the gameplay, then it is doing the same thing every soundtrack music does: conducting what the gamer have to feel. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't a game about music, but it is, that's why the music should be more important here then it is in any other game.
