The town of Santa Clara de Buena Vista is located in the southwest of the Las Colonias Department, Santa Fe Province, Argentina, 75 km from the provincial capital. The town has a population of approximately four thousand inhabitants, while the district covers an area of ​​53,000 hectares where the predominant economic activity is agriculture: it is primarily a grain-producing region. History It was founded on May 14, 1886, by Colonel Rodolfo Domínguez, who named it "Santa Clara" in honor of his wife, Clara Sa Pereira, and "Buena Vista" (Good View) because the town is situated on a hill, offering a pleasant view. Santa Clara de Buena Vista was founded on land belonging to the Mingurá ranch, owned by his wife, Clara Sa Pereira. The town and settlement were established on this inherited land. The lands were named Campo la Buena Vista. Upon its founding, with the desire to pay homage to his wife, Colonel Domínguez named it Colonia de Santa Clara de Buena Vista.
