According to the professor, the clash between the two represents a setback for the right wing and weakens Flávio Bolsonaro's candidacy. "The tension between Michelle and Flávio Bolsonaro, if it had come from the PT's marketing strategist, wouldn't have had the damage this fight has. It's a disaster for Flávio Bolsonaro's candidacy," he stated. Regarding Michelle Bolsonaro's political future, Cavalcanti assessed that the former First Lady should remain out of the 2026 electoral races to preserve her political capital, focusing on 2030, when she could form an alliance with the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas. The columnist also stated that the right wing is better prepared for the presidential succession, while the Workers' Party (PT) would face difficulties in renewing its leadership after President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. “For 2030, the PT is a desert. The party has not fertilized the path for the emergence of viable new leaders. The Brazilian right wing, on the other hand, is more than ready for power in 2030,” he concluded.
