The last two days of my 600km solo bikepacking tour through Thuringia, Hesse, and Rhineland-Palatinate to Bad Dürkheim, the world's largest wine barrel, are really challenging me. From Limburg along the beautiful Lahn Cycle Path, I headed to Koblenz with sore knees. I wanted to take a short train ride, but Deutsche Bahn had other plans, so my hopes were pinned on a bus driver.
