In Turkey, the unjust decisions of the judiciary, which has become a thorny tool of the ruling power, have once again been overturned by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). The ECHR ruled that the rights of 954 victims were violated. For 595 individuals, the ECHR stated that they were "neither given a fair trial nor punished for something that was not a crime." For 34 individuals, the court found that the principle of "no crime without law" was violated, and for 264 individuals, the principle of "fair trial" was violated. The ECHR also found violations of liberty and security for 60 individuals, including businessman Tekin İpek, who has been imprisoned for 10 years.
