Shred your Solo with these Super HOT Organ Riffs

Here are two more Super Useful Organ Riffs that you can learn for your next Organ Solo. In this video, I'm using my new Korg Kronos, purchased recently to replace my Korg Kronos that has started to fade into keyboard heaven due to a serious and ongoing malfunction. Both of these keyboards use the CX3 "engine" that Korg developed many decades ago provides a very suitable replica of a classic Hammond Organ with drawbars. When I was in my early twenties I owned a CX3 single manual organ with actual drawbars and it served me quite well through many live performances with my band. (I wish I'd kept that keyboard...) The first riff is a classic that starts on the tritone (B in the key of F) and involves at least one crossover - - but there are lots of ways to simplify and shorten this lick to avoid crossovers. The second riff is a little more unusual, but the theory and structure behind it makes lots of sense. Try them both and see what you think.
