Hardfacing stabilizer / TECHNOGENIA

The stabilizer has to be correctly position using two tripods and wheels so you can rotate the part. Hand grind the blades to remove any rust or debris. Also break the edges so nothing is left sharp. Clean the surface using acetone or degreaser. Due to the size of the part you may need to pre heat several times to maintain 300F during the welding process. This is a critical step. You can always use a temperature probe or a temperature pen to check the proper temperature. Spray each blade using the spray torch with Technopowder MB40. You will need to rotate the part to achieve the entire operation. Then start welding narrow beads using Technosphere GN. The first bead will have to follow the edge of the blade then the other edge. Depending of the width of the blade add one or more beads in the middle of the blade. Then fill in between each bead to fully cover the blade. Because of its unique cold crucible process, Technogenia is able to produce spherical cast tungsten carbide with a hardness of 3000 to 4000 HV. Typically we recommend applying 6 to 8mm thick of Technopshere. It is also recommended to final grind after welding to achieve a more accurate diameter (customer request)
