Sunny Powder Day in Blue River
Yesterday Arttu’s Polaris blew a quick drive belt and he couldn’t make it to the mountains. We fixed it in the evening, but today Trevor only made it about 10 km on the trail before the Catalyst’s second engine seized. That engine had around 1700 km of hard riding on it, so honestly it didn’t do too badly. Despite the mechanical issues, the day itself was amazing. It was sunny and warm and my face even got a bit of a tan. The snow was a little sticky in the sunny spots, but in the shaded areas it was just as good as the previous days. The scenery and terrain here are absolutely incredible. If you’re willing to climb into the harder spots, you can still find untouched lines. This is truly dream terrain — exactly the kind of riding I’ve always dreamed about. My sled worked great with the new MCX Race intercooler and it definitely added more power. Hope you enjoy spending this awesome day with us through the video!
