How To Make Front End Loader 3 PT Attachment | To Lift Trusses | DIY

We are prepping to build our own shop/pole barn in early 2023. We need an attachment to lift up our trusses onto the barn. John Deere makes them but they are around $500 and we are trying to build our barn for as cheap as possible. So, we decided to build our own. We had an old boom attachment in our barn and a bunch of scrap metal. We used all of that and built this perfect 3 point hitch attachment. It easily attaches onto the front of our fork attachment on our John Deere. This only took a few hours to build and it works great! We tested it our by lifting an old disc attachment which weighs roughly 1,000 pounds! It handled that, so we know it will handle the trusses for our shop/pole barn build.
